My name is Kimmy, I’m so excited (and incredibly honoured) to be taking over Tata Myia from my beautiful mum. As you’ll read in her original welcome piece below, this brand was built on love, intention and a deep respect for what we put on our skin and into our bodies. Since then, our family has grown — with a few more grandchildren and even more furry friends joining the mix as of 2026!
Tata Myia has always stood for purity, and simplicity, values that resonate with me now more than ever. Over the years, I found myself constantly turning products over, reading ingredient labels and asking, “Should we really be putting this on our skin?” That question became even louder when I had my son, who is now 8 months old. I didn’t want a single nasty entering his little body and that’s when our world shifted more deeply toward organic and natural living.
It was the best decision we ever made.
I truly believe in every product we create because I use them myself, every single day. They are part of our family routine, part of our self-care rituals, and part of how we choose to live, consciously and intentionally.

The Tata Myia Journey
Hi, My name is Minna and I'm the new owner of Tata Myia.
A bit about myself:
I'm a mum of three - two sons and one daughter, mum inlaw to two daughters and a nanna to a sassy, adorable eight month old granddaughter, three cats and one dog. This little crew is my whole world and my why in everything I do. If I can leave a legacy of goodness and kindness, then I will have fulfilled my purpose in life.
I met Jenny (founder of Tata Myia) through a mutual friend and we connected in our first meeting. Jenny wanted to leave her skincare creation in trusted hands and with someone who believed in the Tata Myia ethics.
As a small family business we promise to continue the Tata Myia journey with the same vision and ethics as when the brand was first created. We will build a solid foundation, which we can slowly and purposely grow into an effective, gentle and caring business.
Jenny & Yoann's Story
After living overseas and travelling around the world, we moved to Western Australia a few years back. Jenny worked for several years with a naturopath and as a registered nurse and she realise the impact that chemicals have on our skin and health. So, we decided to change our consumption pattern and get back to basics. We found it hard to find organic products that didn't contain ingredients of concern and this inspired us to create our own skin care products, totally free of any nasties. She then went to Paris to train in Aromatherapy, Organic skincare and Cosmetic formulation.
Both into surfing and free diving, we have a strong bond with the ocean. So, it was important to be part of an environmentally responsible approach whereby we offered quality products that were both good for our bodies and safe for the environment. And this…with no compromise :)
We would like to offer our community a 100% transparency and no-nasty skincare alternative and try to follow our ethic in everything we make:
